After a lifetime of traditional bookselling we are giving in and listing a few books on the internet. If any of you out there buy them, it will encourage us to develop this service.
The list begins randomly. Please bear with us while we get into our stride with the list.
At present you need to phone us UK01877339449 or email us on sally.king4@btinternet.com (or visit) to discuss a sale. There will soon be some sections for different subjects, and some cheaper books but it obviously makes sense to start with scarce searchables.

Same author, matching book, A Year in a Lancashire Garden. I ought to sell them together but this one is £20 or £18 if you buy it with the other book too. Both small 8vo dark green cloth with a bit of patterning on the front. A Year in a Lancashire Garden was reprinted in an illustrated edition in recent years. Good North of England gardening books are not very common.

A Classical dictionary of the Vulgar Tongue. Grose. 1785. A strong library binding but the surface of the calf spine is worn. Contains a misprint I spotted, autem bawlers for antem bawlers (OED still has autem bawlers despite my notifying them). Can probably bear to part with it, and have used it again recently, decided to put the price down to £45.
